The derma roller price in Pakistan runs from about PKR 700 to PKR 2,500 for a single roller, with most decent 0.5mm titanium rollers sitting in the lower half of that range. The price is driven by needle material, needle count, needle length, packaging and how much the seller spends on marketing, not by how well the roller works. This guide explains what each price band buys you, what to check before paying, and what we charge and why.
The market range
Prices for derma rollers sold online in Pakistan, on marketplaces, Instagram shops and dedicated stores, roughly fall into three bands.
| Price band | What you usually get | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| PKR 700 to 1,000 | Single roller, 0.5mm or 1.0mm, plastic handle, usually 540 needles, basic case | Unbranded listings with no needle material stated. Loose or bent needles on the cheapest ones. |
| PKR 1,000 to 1,800 | Single roller with better handle and case, or a branded roller with a usage guide | Same roller as the cheaper band with a nicer box. Ask what is actually different. |
| PKR 1,800 to 2,500 and up | Kits with multiple heads (0.25mm, 0.5mm, 1.0mm, 1.5mm), or rollers bundled with serums | Heads you will never use. Serum that costs more than the roller. Sometimes a 1.5mm head you should not be using at home. |
Rollers imported from established international brands cost more again, often several thousand rupees, and are hard to find with reliable stock in Pakistan. Prices shift with the rupee and with shipping, so treat the bands as a guide rather than a rule.
What actually drives the price
Needle material
Titanium alloy needles hold an edge longer than plain stainless steel and cost slightly more to make. Most rollers in the PKR 700 to 1,500 range are titanium alloy; the cheapest unbranded ones may be steel or unstated. Our comparison of titanium vs stainless steel derma roller heads goes into the practical difference, which for a home user is mainly how long the roller stays sharp.
Needle count
The two common formats are 192 needles and 540 needles. A 540-needle head has more, finer needles in rows, which cover the skin more evenly in fewer passes. It does not cost much more to make, but sellers price it higher. Our article on how many needles should a derma roller have explains why 540 is the better default for scalp and face at home.
Needle length
0.25mm, 0.5mm, 1.0mm and 1.5mm heads cost about the same to produce and are often priced the same. The length choice should be about what is safe for you, not price. Our 0.5mm derma roller article explains why that size is the one we sell and recommend for home use on face, scalp and beard.
Handle, case and guide
A non-slip handle, a hard storage case and a printed usage guide add a little to cost and a lot to convenience. The case matters more than it sounds: a roller stored loose in a drawer picks up dust and gets its needles bent.
Brand and marketing
This is the biggest source of price difference and the one that has least to do with the roller. Two identical 540-needle titanium 0.5mm rollers can be listed at PKR 799 and PKR 1,999 depending on the box and the advertising budget. The pricier one is not better. It is just more expensive.
Professional versus home rollers
You will see “professional” or “clinic grade” in listings at the top of the range. In practice, clinics use motorised microneedling pens or single-use sterile rollers with longer needles, and those are a different category with different prices. A home roller is a home roller whatever the label says. Our guide on professional vs personal derma roller devices explains the real distinction, which is about sterility, depth and who is holding it, not about a premium box.
What we charge and why
Our shop sells one product: the Dermaroller.pk 0.5mm roller with 540 titanium alloy needles, a non-slip handle, a storage case and a usage guide. The sale price is PKR 799, down from a regular PKR 1,599, with cash on delivery and free delivery across Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad.
We keep to one size because 0.5mm is the length we are comfortable recommending for weekly home use, and because stocking one item lets us buy in volume and keep the price near the bottom of the market without cutting the needle quality. If you decide the 0.5mm derma roller for PKR 799 is right for you, you pay when it arrives, so there is no risk of paying for something that never turns up.
We do not sell 1.0mm or 1.5mm rollers. They are real products with real uses, and clinic studies used them, but they carry more bleeding and more risk of marks at home, and we would rather point people who need that depth to a clinic.
The real cost over six months
A single roller is not the whole cost, and people are sometimes surprised by that. Needles dull after roughly 10 to 15 uses, so with weekly sessions a roller lasts two to three months. A six-month trial, which is the fair length to judge any result on hair or skin, uses two or three rollers.
| Item | Six-month cost, approximate |
|---|---|
| Rollers (2 to 3 at PKR 799) | PKR 1,600 to 2,400 |
| 70% isopropyl alcohol from a pharmacy | PKR 200 to 400 |
| 5% minoxidil, if using for hair (over the counter) | Varies by brand and pharmacy; budget a few hundred rupees a month |
| Sunscreen, if rolling the face | Whatever you already use |
Compare that with a single clinic microneedling session, which typically costs many times more, and the home route is cheap even if you replace the roller on schedule. The point is that a PKR 2,000 roller does not last any longer than a PKR 800 one. Both dull at the same rate.
Red flags when comparing prices
- No needle material stated. If the listing does not say titanium or stainless steel, assume the seller does not know or does not want to say.
- Prices far below the range. A roller at PKR 300 to 400 is usually a factory reject or a copy with uneven needles that scratch instead of pierce.
- “Original” with no brand behind it. The word means nothing on its own. Look for a seller with a real page, real contact details and reviews that read like customers.
- Kits with a 1.5mm head and no warning. A seller including a 1.5mm roller in a home kit without telling you it bleeds and needs rest days is not looking after you.
- Bundled serum that doubles the price. You need a plain hyaluronic serum at most. Anything with acids, retinol or fragrance should not go on rolled skin.

Frequently asked questions
What is a fair price for a derma roller in Pakistan?
PKR 700 to 1,500 for a single titanium 540-needle roller with a case. Above that you are mostly paying for packaging, a brand name or bundled extras.
Is an expensive derma roller better?
Not by itself. Needle material, needle count and a straight, well-seated needle drum are what matter, and all three are available at the lower end of the range. Price mostly reflects marketing.
Are derma roller kits with several heads worth it?
Rarely, for home use. Most people only ever use the 0.5mm head, and the 1.5mm head in those kits is a size we would not recommend using on yourself.
Why does the same roller cost different amounts on different sites?
Marketplace fees, advertising spend and how much the seller thinks a box is worth. The roller inside is often from the same factory.
If you want a straightforward option at the honest end of the range, our derma roller in Pakistan is PKR 799, cash on delivery, and we will answer any question about it on WhatsApp before you order.
